Bert Mathieson, ND,RD,CDE is a naturopathic doctor, registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. He has a general family practice in naturopathic medicine with special interests in diabetes, metabolic syndrome, weight management and sports nutrition. He practices at NH Natural Health Clinic in Bedford, NH.

Bert grew up in Durham New Hampshire and obtained his bachelor's degree in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While studying nutrition he competed in gymnastics for the University of Massachusetts. After completing his nutrition studies Bert obtained a master's degree in sport psychology from York University in Toronto Canada while competing in the Canadian National Gymnastics Championships for several consecutive years. During his time in Canada Bert was the nutrition consultant for the Canadian National Men's Gymnastics Team. After completing a dietetic internship Bert worked as a registered dietitian for 8 years in multiple clinical settings and became board certified as a certified diabetes educator in 1999. Dr. Mathieson graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe Arizona and completed a naturopathic residency at The Alaska Center for Natural Medicine in Fairbanks Alaska.
